19+ Policy
A. 19+ only
1.1 You must have turned 19 to register, deposit or play at North Bay Casino. The age limit applies across the entire lobby, covering Live Casino, Jackpots, Popular slots, free-to-play games, Promotions and North Bay Rewards.
1.2 We accept players solely from jurisdictions whose laws permit it, and we follow Canadian rules on age, identity checks and anti-money laundering.
1.3 We direct our marketing solely at adults, and we do not create content or offers designed to attract young people.
B. How we check age
2.1 Your date of birth is requested at sign-up, and anyone under 19 is unable to finish registering.
2.2 We verify who you are and how old you are using trusted data sources before your first deposit is accepted. When that check cannot confirm you, we request a current driver's licence, passport or provincial photo ID card, as explained on our Verification and AML page.
2.3 A geolocation check also runs before any deposit, confirming you are in a permitted location.
2.4 We may repeat age verification on any account whenever we choose.
C. Shared devices and protecting minors
3.1 Your account is for you alone. Under our Account Terms, letting anyone else use it, including a family member, is not allowed.
3.2 On a device others in your home can reach:
- use a screen lock with a PIN, password or fingerprint
- never let your browser save your password
- log out whenever you stop playing
- do not store card details on the device
3.3 Apple Pay and Google Pay require device authentication before a payment goes through. Do not share that authentication, and keep children away from your cards and e-wallet logins.
3.4 Talk with young people in your home about gambling. The YMCA Youth Gambling Awareness Program offers material for youth and parents.
D. Parental controls and filtering tools
4.1 Most computers, phones, tablets and gaming consoles include parental controls as standard. These let you restrict adult content, set screen time and require approval before purchases are made.
4.2 Router settings and filtering software can stop gambling sites from loading on all devices connected to your home network.
4.3 In app store settings you can limit downloads by age classification, which stops gambling apps from being installed on a child's device.
4.4 Turn on safe search in browsers and search engines to keep gambling ads and results away from children.
E. If a minor is found
5.1 We immediately suspend any account we believe belongs to, or is operated by, anyone under 19, and all further play is blocked.
5.2 Any bet a minor places is void, and winnings from it are forfeited. Deposits are refunded to the originating card or account where Canadian law allows.
5.3 If an adult's account has been played on by a minor, we look into the account and the holder's role. Closure is possible under our Account Terms.
5.4 Should you believe someone younger than 19 is able to reach our site, let us know. Each report is investigated, and your name stays confidential.
